Pomegranates are a treasured holiday treat and, using a few tricks, easy to seed at home.
A Few Tips:
Make sure you wear an old apron or t-shirt as pomegranate juice can stain.
Store your pomegranate arils in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
Or place in a single layer on a wax paper-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 2 hours. Then store in an airtight container and freeze for up to 3 months.
Sprinkle your arils over yogurt, granola, salads or toast with peanut butter. Or serve on a holiday cheese board with soft cheeses like goat cheese or feta.
